Visiting the Beatrix Potter exhibition @vamuseum last week took us back a few years to a commission Lucy and I were invited to work on - a contemporary version of the 18c waistcoat held in the V&A archives that Beatrix Potter drew to inspire her delightful book The Tailor of Gloucester. The waistcoat inspired us too, as we spent many quiet and enjoyable hours together hand stitching, and planning future collaborations…
